A Storyteller at Heart
Hey, my name is Sam, but you'll probably know me as Chief, a content creator and filmmaker, if you will, from the UK. The whole point of this section is to tell you that I'm a storyteller, but hopefully you'll divulge that from the content you've seen.
Storytelling has a special place in my heart, the ability to take people on a journey is something I treasure and I want to make sure I do through each edit I make.
The visuals are great, the sound is gripping, the grade is hopefully quality in your eyes, but the package? That's what matters - the ability to keep you engaged regardless of where you're seeing my work, and when.
The Journey
From Engineering to Filmmaking
Funnily enough or not, I studied Mechanical Engineering, a master's even. Nothing to do with filmmaking at all. However, I believe nothing is wasted and everything happens for a reason.
If coming to an unfamiliar place to me called Liverpool, and studying a degree for four years that I eventually fell out of love with, was what I needed to open up my eyes to the world of videography, photography and storytelling, then fair enough God - I'm here for it.
Plus being able to say I have a master's as well as being self taught in everything filming and post-production isn't such a bad thing.

My Philosophy
"Storytelling is all about pacing for me. It's a great blessing and burden to be entrusted by others with their attention."
A lot of people are here just to scroll through content, which is okay, but those that are here for an experience, my aim is to do that justice.
Show them a world that exists outside of their own everyday and speaks purpose into their lives. And hopefully, motivates them to achieve whatever dream exists in their heart.
All in all, I'm just someone trying to make sense of the gift that God gave—enjoy the journey.
